I have seen thousands of posts about pubic hair (mostly on the female), so I have figured that such a post as this one, is of the utmost necessity.
First Issue
Common courtesy. If you wish your partner to shave/wax/trim their pubic hair, it is common courtesy for you to do the same thing. Ok?
Ok. Good.
Second Issue
Why do most males prefer their women shaved/waxed.
The answer to this, is very easy. From birth males are surrounded with pictures of sexy, sensual women. All of them hairless. Women's leg's? Hairless. Women's arms? Some remove the hair, some it's so little and white you can't see it, so it's virtually hairless. However, some women have rather hairy arms, which is unfortunate because it isn't very pleasant to look at hence we say "that woman has man arms" if the hair is black and plentiful. Also porn. Women are hairless.
Men have been brought up, to think that any bodily hair on a female (with exception to eyebrows and your hair on the top of your head) is not pleasant.
Smooth=Sexy.
It is not our fault, that we find bodily hair on a female disgusting, it has been inbred into us. Not shaving/waxing your vagina is like not shaving your legs. It has the same effect. So why would vaginal hair be more pleasant than leg hair?
Please take this into consideration girls.
Common Arguments
1st Argument: "It's unnatural to shave down there, ew".
This argument is of course, based solely on personal opinion, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. If you don't want to, don't. However saying it is "unnatural" really isn't very smart. Almost everything in our society is unnatural, from the processed, chemically altered food we eat, to the clothes that keep us warm. We are a superficial society, and natural/unnatural means very, very little.
2nd Argument: "It's disgusting to have no hair down there, i don't want to look like a 9 year old, the guy must be a paedophile".
I'm sure you can all see where I am going to go with this by now. Anyway, you shave your legs. But your shaven legs, are smooth, sexy and definately not that of a 9 year old. Same goes with your other bodily parts. You remove all excess body hair to be "feminine" and because it is disgusting, to both the look and touch (in society's mind), but shaving pubic hair is unfeminine, and makes you look like a child? No, it simply isn't true. A child's vagina, is nothing like a shaved/waxed, grown woman's and men certainly are not paedophiles for liking it shaved/waxed.
3rd Argument: "It is a woman's body, and she shouldn't be pressured into changing the way she wants it for any reason".
This is 99% true. It is a woman's body and it is her choice. However, when two people consensually get together for sexual relations, things need to be taken into consideration. I'm sure all of us want to please our respective partner(s), and they may or may not prefer it trimmed/shaved/waxed. Now, this is in no way to say that just because your partner(s) want you to do it that you should. It is your choice.
As for male pubic hair, just ask us ladies and gentlemen, I have yet to find a man who won't trim/shave in any way shape or form for their partner. But do not let them harass you to trim/shave/wax if they themselves will not return the courtesy.

i still think a girl with no hair down there is nasty and a guy who likes it that way is a pedophile. oh and i trim most of it
